This weekend I had the pleasure of popping over to Copenhagen.
I had been there many years ago for a night on a business trip, so was pleased to finally be able to go back there and actually spend some time seeing the sights and actually enjoying it at a leisurely pace.
It was awesome, though I did tire myself a bit too much on the Saturday by walking way too far for way too long. It’s a small city, but I spent hours pounding the streets from 5am moving from location to location, and then in the late evening I opted to pop over to Sweden for some more walking.
This image was one of the first that I took in the morning. I had just witnessed the sunrise by the famous Little Mermaid statue and was walking around nearby trying to make the most of the light. I remember this, the Gefion Fountain, from my last visit to Copenhagen and it was good to be able to visit it with a camera this time.
I’m looking forward to sharing more images from this beautiful city over the next few days. I have one image in particular that I love, but which was taken on my smart phone, so be sure to follow me on Instagram to see that when posted.
