I really need to spend more time in the UK visiting out national parks and the beautiful scenery we have on offer. Over the past couple of years I’ve traveled around Scotland, Cornwall and Wales along with a few other places – all of which have amazing views.

The waterfalls trail at Ingleton in the Yorkshire Dales is a lovely walk that we did on Sunday. Nobody was really there due to the late hour we arrived and the rain that was stopping and starting, so although they weren’t ideal conditions, and I was there with non-photographers so I didn’t hang around at any one spot for as long as I normally would, it provided a great taster of this place, and I would very much like to return.

Here’s one spot between two of the falls where the river takes a lovely U-turn in between the lush vegetation. A beautiful spot that was perfectly suited to the wide angle lens.

I really need to see about getting some sort of filter system in place for my 14mm…
