I grabbed a shot of this window while walking around Nara in Japan.
It was a pretty warm day and the sun was very harsh, you can see some of it in this image where the shadow falls off. I was walking around with the 70-200mm and too lazy to change lenses so I pushed myself as far as I could against a wall behind me and composed for the upper half of the window. I quite like how the lighting acts as a natural gradient throughout the image.
During the autumn I imagine this would be a completely different and attractive scene, if there is any growth on the vines at all.
Mid week at last! Have a great day all.
