Hello all, did you have a nice weekend?
I had rather a productive one, with a lot of household chores and website stuff being done on the Saturday, and a full day of work yesterday, which was rounded off by a little photography (well, I took shots) and a little (ahem) drinking with Jay and Conor last night. A lovely weekend, even if I did see someone getting stabbed with a spoon in Brick Lane.
Last week I met up with Charlie for a little wander and more photography than I managed to do this weekend. We arrived at St Paul’s Cathedral to find it completely empty, which is rather unusual as normally the steps have people sat on them. I was amazed.
By the time we crossed the road, however, this person had decided to take his bike up to the top of the stairs and sit there having a cup of coffee (I’m guessing) from his flask and play with his phone.
I took the opportunity to grab my 70-200mm and take a few shots of him, rather than the usual wide angle shot of this place that I would normally go for.
I like it, and have to thank him for not moving too much, allowing me to grab this shot here.
