If you can’t tell from looking at the image, this is a shot of Hever Castle.
The front of the castle was covered in ivy, as you can see here, which nicely framed this window, so I set up the tripod and zoomed into 70mm with the 24-70 glass to get this scene.
The weekend of this trip had some lovely autumnal colours in the leaves so it was pretty good timing on our part, even if it was an unplanned trip and therefore purely luck.
