This is a small gothic chapel on the Liptovska Mara reservoir in Slovakia. We visited it during our last day there, before driving on to Bojnice castle and then driving a little too fast to try and make it back to the airport in Austria on time for our flight home.
I remember being a little disappointed with this location. I had seen some lovely images taken here in autumn and winter, so to be there while the weather was so summery meant this location didn’t live up to what I had hoped it would be, and certainly didn’t allow me to capture the images I had first thought about when adding the location to my road map.
It was also a little busier than I thought it would be, with several cars around the chapel, as well as people fishing and such – generally just getting in the way 🙂
