Well, it’s a goodbye to the people who are in this graveyard, and it’s a goodbye to 2013.
I will, of course, be back tomorrow…even if it does mean I need to spend some of my New Year’s evening processing an image or two 🙂
This is another image form the Recoleta Cemetery in Buenos Aires. I was waiting for a group of people to move from this particular gravestone so that I could get a long shot down this corridor of tombs. They were taking their time, and I was waiting patiently, when all but this lady disappeared and it gave me a great subject to focus on. I ended up having to crop the final image quite a bit as this lady was pretty far away in the composition.
It was a super hot day of around 30 degrees which, yes, I find a little toasty.
In other news I’m very excited to have just booked a trip to New York for mid January. I’m more excited about returning there than I was about any places I visited this year. I’m hoping it snows.
