Well I hope everyone had a lovely Christmas day. I spent it working on an end of year video, which is something that it looks like today will also be spent on due to the slow rendering offered by After Effects. Hopefully it’ll be ready to post by the end of the year 🙂
In the meantime, we’re heading off back to Jordan and the Wadi Rum desert. It was nice to stand here in the middle of the night looking up at the stars. I stood here for 30 minutes or so attempting to get a star trail, but when processing it didn’t feel right as the stars were moving in two circles rather than just the one, which didn’t really fit the scene.
In other news I think I’m finally over the cold/flu thing I had, or at least I’m back to 90% which is close enough. I haven’t taken any photos since my time in Jordan, and have done very little processing, so I’m looking forward to correcting that this weekend by getting out there with the camera again.
