Gold rush

On a street in Newcastle that wasn’t exactly quiet, but also was no Oxford Street, I found it rather amusing to find this group of shoppers gathered around the window of this gold merchants checking out the stock.

I wonder if any of them are serious potential buyers, if they are happy to window shop – but not step inside, if someone is hoping to buy one for a loved one, or indeed just hoping to receive?

I also half expected to see my reflection in the window as I was taking the shot, so I wonder if I’m finally turning into a vampire as well.

Today I’m off to Jordan with Conor & Jimmy, so this is an automated post and I should be taking off just as it goes live.
