I’m going to go out on a limb here and say that this is a statue of David, although an armless version of it.
It can be found in the grounds of Hever Castle, and it’s while processing images from here that I was reminded that I really should try and pay more attention when taking photos to see if there is a plaque or something that would allow me to establish the names of my subjects. Otherwise there are only so many variants of the word Statue (statua, statuesque, pose, etc) that I can use before running out of them.
So from this distance I feel that this statue looks a little like Michelangelo’s David. I’m happy to be corrected though.
