A day in the death of a tree

When you’ve already called one post ‘bench’ in the past, it’s hard to think of another title when the image is of another bench.

This particular bench is 180 degrees around from the image I posted yesterday. In an area that is so scenic it was odd to see this bench tucked away where it doesn’t really have a view of the main attractions of the location we were at, but I guess it’s a nice quiet(ish) spot where you could perhaps eat a picnic lunch.

Autumn is possibly my favourite time of year; seeing red leaves scattered on the floor is such a simple pleasure.
