Yesterday I posted an image of a lake. Today, I take about 4 steps backwards, rotate 90 degrees to the left, and show a photo of that view instead. It really was a lovely spot that we were in on this campsite.
Bala Lake is in Gwynedd, Wales. Gwynedd is unusual, in that it’s a Welsh place name that has a vowel in it – I didn’t think there were man of those.
In other news Google+ seem to be rolling out usernames. I couldn’t seem to assign mine as ‘murphyz’ which is a shame, so I’ve gone for the rather boring name variety. Michael Murphy is a very commo…um…popular name so I was surprised to get in there with it to be honest. Apologies to all of the other Michael Murphy’s out there who didn’t get it. When Google+ first started I added about 50 people with the same name to my circles; I can’t imagine how many of us have joined the site since then. Actually, I don’t need to imagine it as I’ve just done a search. Way too many too count, that’s for sure. Connect with me if we don’t already – https://plus.google.com/+MichaelMurphy/
