I went to Wales for a week last month, however a lack of time (and proper planning), meant I didn’t get too see a few places that I was interested in, one of which was Nash Point. So this weekend I returned to Wales to finish it off a little bit, or at least to visit this location and return to the Brecon Beacons which I enjoyed so much previously.

I think this location during a sunrise or sunset would be pretty awesome. We arrived in the mid to late afternoon, however, and the tide was coming in quickly and the interesting rocky spots were going to be completely underwater by the time the sun went down, so we moved on.

For this image I used a 10 stop ND filter to allow the clouds a little movement over the sky.

Hope everyone had a great weekend; I’m exhausted after mine, and have a very bust few days in the office. I’ll be napping under my desk if anyone needs me.

  1. I like this a lot! Great texture and details in those cliffs and they contrast nicely with the moving clouds! Good luck with the napping!

  2. Wow, really digging this one. Everything is spot and and love your black and white treatment.
