Gold crested cliffs

A week ago today I was stood at these cliffs, watching a sunset and shooting away. It seems like it was much longer ago.

The cliffs are chalk and so are normally white, however with the sun setting it makes them appear golden, which is beautiful. These cliffs are constantly eroding, and in this image you can see a pile of chalk where part of it has come down over time; though the last mass movement was 12 years ago.

I’m going to have a chilled weekend this week; hope you have a relaxing one yourself.
