“There’s always something to see, when you’re near the sea.”
I made that quote up…but it seems like it could be pretty relevant. I certainly like coastal images, and there is often something cool to photograph once the tide has gone out.
For this image, I was relatively close to the sea…but it was more of an inlet. I was in an area that had plenty of boats tied up so I guess it’s where boats go to sleep at the end of a long trip. Though the boats themselves were quite interesting, it was this wheel which was my main source of interest.
I wonder how long it has been sitting in this spot, gathering gunk from the ebbing tide? Quite some time by the looks of it.
I find it beautiful, even though disgusting. I guess that’s why I like urban decay so much as well.
