This week on the photoblog we’re heading back to Beijing for images from the trip I did earlier this year.
I am going away on a trip this week so was needing five images to process, and once I got started on my Beijing folder I just couldn’t stop really.
This one was taken from the top of the hill in Jinshang Park. I was stood up there, along with a lot of other people, waiting for the sun to go down. There were a lot of people attempting to get this view so when I finally found a spot after someone moved away I was actually a little disappointed that this was the view they were seeing. I think with a zoom lens, however, this view would be transformed and would allow you to really focus on one building with a lot of the mountain range in the background. That would feel a little more epic – though I guess it wouldn’t have changed the sunset itself.
I’m heading out of town tonight to drive around Wales for 4 or 5 days, so the rest of my images will be scheduled – hope you have the time to check them out, otherwise I’m sure you can catch me on Instagram throughout the week.
