Here’s another image from the Tatra Mountains in Slovakia.
Though much of the scenery is essentially the same there (stream, mountain, tree, repeat), I still took more shots than I maybe would have if I hadn’t been hiking. Photography gives you a great excuse to stop for a few minutes and catch your breath, pretending you are getting the ideal composition or waiting for the right light – when in fact you’re dying inside.
After processing this image last night I decided to put together a little video showing the different layers that were involved. Anyone who has seen my previous 45 minute workflow videos will be pleased to find that this one is under 3 minutes in length and does not involve me talking.
