One thing about hiking a creek-side path up a mountain is the constant sound of running water really makes you want to pee.
Another thing is that you have plenty of opportunities to find a nice spot to pop on the black glass and shoot a long exposure of the water.
This was a lovely little scene in the High Tatras, and so I put on the 10 stop, attached my Triggertrap to the camera and iPhone, and settled down for a few long exposure shots. I was hoping a bear may walk into the scene to take a sip from the lovely cool water, but alas it was not to be.
For processing I converted to black and white using Perfect B&W 2 by Topaz Labs, and then decreased the opacity a little to get some of the original colours back in from the original photo. I thought the muted tones gave the final image a much stronger finish that in pure black and white.

Great shot here Mike, you have caught the waterfall perfectly, lovely composition with capturing all the small streaks of water to give a great silky fell to it 😉
Really loving this image, not only a great composition but your processing brings out some amazing textures. Very well done.
holy cow Mike, you crushed it here, love it!!
