There are many touristy spots within London that I have never been to. I confess to never having walked through the doors of the Tower of London, or Madame Tussauds, or Buckingham Palace. I have done other stuff though, like walk over the O2, or climb the Queen Elizabeth Tower to stand besides Big Ben and watch it strike the hour. Swings and roundabouts I guess.

I have, however, been to this place.

It is full of fish.

I haven’t seen all of it though. I actually went there after hours one night because a client was having an event there. We drank, we ate nibbles (that disappointingly didn’t feature any seafood), we watched a shark being fed, and I stroked one of those weird flat fish things. I forget what they are called…they’re the ones that have mouth and eyes on the underside and they always look happy. Ray fish…perhaps? Either way, there was a petting tank there that allows you to do that.

I spent much of the evening changing the names of people that I met so that they have fish names instead of their real names. Mark became Shark, Mike became Pike, Gail became Wha….well, she didn’t like what I called her.
