Leake Street, just to the south of the London Eye, is a fantastic little tunnel and a space where graffiti is allowed. It may smell a bit, and at night time you may question walking through it alone, but it’s a constant canvas for some really talented artists…as well as some less talented ones and people who just like to tag things.
On my latest trip there I got down and dirty as I lay on the floor, rested the camera with 14mm glass on my wallet and took this image.
I quite liked how it came out, and simply sharpened slightly before adding a touch of a focal blur vignette (mostly to even up the depth blurring that was happening in the original shot).
Make sure you drop by this place if you’re ever visiting the city and fancy grabbing a few grungy images.
