In a few weeks time, the eyes of the world will be on London and the Olympic Games.

I’m not 100% sure how our infrastructure will cope with so many more people attempting to get to so many more locations at the same time; rush hour in London already sees the tube network and steam of buses full and often at a standstill.

The influx of people who are simply on the streets shopping and enjoying the sights when they are not at the games will also be a nightmare to deal with at times.

But saying all that, the atmosphere is set to be electric with a buzz over London that is not often felt – and that I am very much looking forward to.

If any photographers are visiting London for the games and have a bit of downtime, do be in touch and we can hopefully head out on a photocrawl sometime over that period, and battle our way through everyone in order to get to the lovely photo spots that we have on offer.

This photo was pretty much just a quick snapshot with the NEX-7, taken at Heathrow airport as I was on my way back from Prague.

  1. wow amazing perspective indeed!!! This is terminal 5 right? It will be very crowded during those days. I was wondering if I could photograph the olympic torch in front of my house on 24th of July, but I’m not sure if I will be in London.
Anyway I always struggle to take photos in crows because I’m quite small

  2. Awesome. Even though I enjoy the winter games over the summer, I find the whole concept of the olympics as being something special. Great image.
