Just a quick post today as I’m super busy at work. During the recent Open House weekend I was able to visit the London Library, which is pretty huge and what some people would consider to be a bit of an exclusive place as annual membership will set you back around £450…a lot to pay when library membership in the UK is usually free.
However the free ones are usually council owned, and not self managed like this one is. It’s a great place with some fantastic rooms throughout, and I was happy to be able to snap a few shots as we wandered around on our tour. No tripod, so I had to just try and hold steady in the low light conditions. Here’s the best of the ones I took I think.
Great composition. I almost feel like I am there looking for a book.
Now that is how you shoot some books!
Sweet dreamy shot man, love the glow in the foreground.
Love the compostion and the lighting.
Classic vanishing lines. Nice image especially for hand held. A membership fee for a library? Just doesn’t quite seem right.
I LOVE this shot man. Love the dark details in the floor, the soft highlights of the books on the shelves… This is one of my favorites from you!
