Facade

Something a little different today, no HDR, and the processing done pretty much exclusively in Lightroom – the only Photoshop action being to remove the corner of a building at the top right and then to try and get a consistent light in he sky.

I’ve been out so much in the last few weeks and where I thought I was at a stage where I had images processed and good for me to use on the blog for a decade that wasn’t quite the case and I quickly found that I was running out of things I wanted to post right now. I have a nice set, but they’re urbex and not something I can go live with right now.

As I was glancing through a few of my folders I saw the brackets for this image and thought it may be nice to simply take the 0 exposure and see how it would turn out with a more minimalist feel to it.

Turns out I really like it…and will be certainly be hoping to do more like this in the future. I think part of the appeal is that it’s pretty different to what I would normally do, and a step away from my usual processing techniques. I hope you enjoy this image as much as I do.
