Centre Point is one of the buildings that you can easily identify in the London skyline. Standing on the corner of Tottenham Court Road and Oxford Street, and relatively near the BT Tower – especially when viewed from a high vantage point – you can recognise it by the fact it stands tall at around 34 storeys high and is headed by a blue strip of light at night time. The views from the 33rd floor bar are pretty darn nice when facing East, less so facing West but still pretty impressive none the less.
For those who follow Stephen Fry on Twitter, it was in a lift up to the bar of this building that he was trapped in sometime quite recently.
For the first weekend in a while I have no real plans – hurrah! I hope everyone has a good one, see you on Monday.
You were probably on the wrong side of it.
Great composition! The design of the building almost gives it a 3D effect when scanning from top to bottom! Very cool!
I love the really dark details in this. The contrast is great.
Love the composition and the contrast Mike!
