As with the shot from Friday, this one was taken while wandering up the Thames with Bert Beckers and was done so during the magic hour.
It’s a popular stretch of the Thames so I was fortunate to get this without a load of people in the way…certainly not something that could have been done from many of the other viewpoints in this area.
That oddly shaped building to the right of London Bridge is City Hall and really is shaped like that, so although I was using a fisheye for this shot it doesn’t distort that building too much.
I’m stood in ‘The Scoop’ which is an amphitheatre able to seat 800 people and is where film, theatre and other activities are shown throughout the summer months. I’ve never seen it in use myself.
That crazy building on the right is crazy cool and adds nicely to the shot!
Great lines and use of fisheye!
Love this shot!
Love the comp with the fishye. Good stuff.
wow that is an awesome scene, well shot!
Great composition… looks like you “scooped” only the best parts for the shot!
