I am based in London, United Kingdom and most of my photos are taken around this magnificent city; I’ve recently found urban exploration to be a great form of inspiration and a way to get some unique shots that many other Londoners aren’t able to.
My Canon 500d is the first camera I have ever owned and I did not make much use of it for the first 10 months or so that I had it. I then discovered High Dynamic Range (HDR) and this got me hooked.
The majority of my work is done with the HDR technique, though as I use the camera more and more I do find myself breaking away and using other techniques also, and I wish to do a lot more in black and white.
Shortly after discovering HDR I also found out about Urban Exploration, and so I enjoy combining these and finding places that are off the beaten track to photograph.
When not taking photos I have a few other hobbies which includes geocaching, riddle creation and solving and playing poker…though I can’t decide if photography or poker is the more expensive hobby to maintain!
