This is one of the rooms within the Christiansborg Palace in Copenhagen.
It was a very beautiful place, and oddly – for a Saturday afternoon in a very touristy city – pretty empty. I saw 5 other people in here while I was wandering around, or 6 if you include the security guy.
I thought I did a remarkable job of hiding myself, or at least my shadow from view. I ended up having to duck down in front of the window that was behind me, and position my arms and camera in the slather of shadow the window frame was casting so that I didn’t place my own shadow all over the floor.
