Library lamp

I grabbed this image while in the New York Public Library.

People were working at the desks behind me so I didn’t feel like I wanted to hang around taking many images, the clicking of my camera in such locations seems to be very loud and it would be unfair for me to do so. I therefore took a single shot of this scene and moved on, and as it turns out I ended up doing quite a lot of post processing on this one to straighten out some of the angles and get the lighting right.

I should have simply taken more time on the scene, as I glanced at the screens of people ‘working’ I found most of them on Facebook or Twitter, and someone else simply playing online poker.
