Loggia on the lake

This is Hever Lake, which is found by Hever Castle. I didn’t have much time to spend at the lake on the afternoon we visited, but I understand you can go on a lovely walk all around it which lasts about an hour.

Instead I took 5 minutes to take a few photos…and chase a duck.

A loggia is the building you can partially see in the background. That’s all I know about loggias and this building.

I would have preferred for the boats to have been facing the other way in this image…but I guess there are times when you really can’t interfere with the scene to have everything the way you want it.

Hope everyone is having a good week. Today is a good day. Tube strikes in London mean the TFL rolled out their old Routemaster stock so I got to ride a bus to work, for free, which I never thought I would go on again. Plus I’m off to the Google offices tonight to see what photography stuff they have lined up for 2014. Woo.
