I told you

I’m not in the greeting card business, but if I were then I think this would make a perfect “I told you so” card.

Not that I’m convinced anyone actually sends cards of that nature. I’ve certainly never received one; my friends seem to want to look at me with contempt when they tell me that particular message in person.

Anyhow, while driving around Wales we went to Barry Island. Named after Saint Baruc, I guess the locals just preferred the name Barry. There is a ‘pleasure beach’ type thing there, which was a little grim but did feature a run down log flume that was closed and dry, but had easy access inside. Not too interesting actually. The mountain it was contained in was hollow except for scaffold…it seems it is all for show. Near to that, was this. I found it rather fetching – and a little bit sinister.
