Ocean Mist

It was a windy night as we rushed from one spot of coastline to another trying to get a sunset in. My maps showed a few roads leading right down to the sea where we would be able to find a nice piece of terrain to set up and take our images; it did not take into account the roads were gated and not accessible. This meant we had were just over a mile away from where we wanted to be when we got there, and with time running out that meant, walking and jogging and hopping a wall and such like until we were able to get through the fields that stood between us and our destination.

Upon arrival the wind and spray from the sea were pretty fierce. It did not play nicely with the cameras or filters, and at one stage larger wave managed to come up and hit my, luckily closed, camera bag.

Still, we persevered, and from what were not great conditions I resulted in an image that looks pretty peaceful.
