Well, this is a momentous day.
It’s been 30 months since I started my weekdaily photoblog; that’s two and a half years. Within that time I have not missed a weekday posting something new.
I have also not posted anything that wasn’t taken with my Canon or Sony cameras; until today.
This is my very first iPhone shot to be published as my daily blogpost.
I wanted to see how well that worked out under a little processing. I’ve been so used to processing RAW files that I forgot just how little a JPEG can be manipulated. However, doing so also reaffirmed just how great the software we have to process is, and how much filters and their associated sliders can add to an image.
Here’s the original out of camera image for comparison.
- Camera: iPhone 4S
- Focal length: 4.3mm
- ISO: 50
- Shutter speed: 1/190s
