Penmon Point is in the north of Wales, and was the first sunset stop I made during my trip last week. I unfortunately didn’t see any amazing sunsets on this trip, but being by the coast I was able to break out the 10 stop filter and spend some time getting a long exposure that turned the ocean into glass (okay, I actually spent way too much time attempting to get it done as trial and error seems to eat away a dusk period when using the black glass, especially when 8 minute exposures don’t turn out as expected).
This shot is a mere three and a half minute exposure so the attempts made to get this one weren’t too bad (except for that first long exposure attempt where I forgot to attach the filter and resulted in a lovely image of pure white – ahem; not the first time, won’t be the last).
