Window brush

We’re finishing off the week with another image from the hutongs, and a typical one at that.

Most hutongs had windows, and most windows had something on the windowsill. This could often be something used to clean, or a toy, or some sort of vegetable that was sitting, and sometimes even growing, there.

I note the curtains in this scene are closed, which is probably a good idea when you’ve got tourists like myself poking around and taking photos of everything.

I hope you have had a good week. I imagine I have, but as I am writing his in advance that’s pure guess work. I’m currently somewhere in Wales, but will return home over the weekend, and look forward to catching up with everything I have missed 🙂

This is a scheduled post while I’m driving around Wales taking awesome photos.

  1. What a great find that image is – it just hangs together so well, And that brush just acts so naturally as the end point of the image.
